Hello. This seems to be an interesting place. What is it that you do here?

OOC:So could someone give me a rundown of what has happened in this thread? I'm not really up for going through 60+ topics.

(I will tell you everything important. It was found out that the stars have started moving unnaturally fast and disappearing. Icefall decided to contact me, Kaeden, a frequent visitor of the Observatory and a (was) novice Moon Mage. She had an owl she new, Nalyr, find me and lead me to her Observatory. We discussed the problem with the stars. We talked about the war between the Dark Solar Mages, and the Star Mages and Solar Mages. The Dark Solar Mages were defeated, but not destroyed. We believed that the Dark Solar Mages were doing this for revenge. The moving of the stars caused the journeymen Star Mages to go insane, and became easy for the Dark Solar Mages to control. Because of this, the Star Mages and Solar Mages began wandering, trying to avoid the Dark Solar Mages. We planned to leave to search for the Star Mages and Solar Mages, but then Cynthia (Mew 13) arrived, and the insane journeymen had chased her to this Observatory. Icefall was able to use magic to keep them out. Before thinking of a plan to get the journeymen out of the way, we had to know where to find Star Mages and Solar Mages first. I used one of my spells, Locate, to try and find their camp. Icefall assisted me with the spell by helping me power it. I located one of the Star Mages, Teferi Wystan. They were about forty to fifty miles southeast of the Observatory. When we were prepared, I casted another spell, Focus Moonbeam, to lure the journeymen away from the door long enough for us to escape from the Observatory. We traveled through a large amount of hill covered terrain, and arrived at a forest. We spent the night in the forest. When I awakened, I was staring in the face of my guildmaser, Kssarh, who had lost his patience waiting for me to return to Elanthia. I was away for a few days, then my guildmaster allowed me to return. I was heading southeast again from the forest. It was raining and very dark. Icefall was attacked by two wolves being controlled by the Dark Solar Mages. She managed to kill them, but not without receiving injuries. She managed to continue to the southeast a bit more, then I finally caught up to her. I helped tend her neck wounds, then a bit later we arrived at a lake. She washed the mud from her wounds then. We continued a bit longer, but I believed that the Solar Mages and Star Mages moved when they sensed the presence of underlings of the Dark Solar Mages. We casted another locate spell, and found them about ten miles to the south and increasing. They were travelling up a mountain. Icefall decided to cast a spell to transport us a bit closer to them. At that time, Loup Garou and another person who I cannot seem to remember appeared. Loup Garou came with us, and we were teleported farther than Icefall expected she could. We were at the base of the mountain I saw in my spell. At that point, a few more people appeared as if out of nowhere. We began travelling up, and one of the people we met at the mountain base, Talix, sent me a message through telepathy that he had encountered a large amount of orcs. We went up the mountain to help him. The battle was not too hard. We found out that the orcs were from the Dark Solar Mages, and that Icefall had been marked with a tracing spell by the wolves she encountered earlier. When we finished the last of the orcs, even more people appeared as if out of nowhere. Both I and Icefall found it very suspicious. Finally, we found the Star Mages and Solar Mages. Icefall went ahead, as only Star Mages and Solar Mages could enter, apparently. (Icefall is a Star Mage.) She had a small conversation with Teferi Wystan before Teferi came out to meet us. He then opened the barriers shortly so we could enter. I talked with Teferi a moment, and then went to the edge of the camp to ponder things. Icefall is now looking for me. That is all.)

(nice recap, Kaeden)

Icefall crosses the camp and finds Kaeden sitting alone on the outskirts near the barrier. She gives him a warm smile.

Kaeden, thank you for all of your help thus far. I'm so glad we were able to finally meet up with Teferi and the other mages. Tonight at dinner, I'll propose my plan for how to deal with the rouge journeymen.

Icefall sits down next to her friend.

You have helped me so much. Is there anything I can do for you in return?
From: Kaeden | Posted: 7/5/00 7:46:38 AM
<Kaeden stays silent a moment, then speaks.>
Kaeden: "... No, I require nothing in return. I helped you because I wanted to, not because I wished for a favor in return." <Kaeden stops staring at his scimitar and starts looking up.>
Kaeden: "Hmm... How could we deal with the journeymen? Perhaps it would require the death of the one or many that continue moving the stars."

As a temporary solution, I thought that we could cast a sleep spell over them and then set up some barriers so that when they wake up they can be contained. The journeymen we saw at the observatory seemed to be moving in a group, so that might make it easier for us to capture them. After that though, I'm unsure of how we will deal with the Dark Solar mages and their allies. Hopefully someone will have an idea at the dinner meeting.

Teferi comes walking up to them. He has some clothes slung over his right arm and he is carrying a small jar.

"Hello again, Kaeden. Here ya go, Icefall. Some new clothes."

He hands her the jar and clothes.

"Come and see me after you get that cream on your back so we can deal with this mark they set on you. Its the same stuff that i put on your neck."

Icefall nods and stands up.

I'll be back shortly, Kaeden.

Icefall walks back towards the tent area, leaving Teferi and Kaeden alone.

Teferi takes a seat on a rock a short distance away from Kaeden. He clears his throat in the awkward silence.

"Heh. Again, its nice to meet you. How did you meet Icefall in the first place?"
