A circular building with a domed roof sits atop a large hill. Behind the main structure is an old tower.

Once past the intricately carved oak doors, the main room appears to be larger than from the outside. Small electric lights set in the walls faintly hum and give off a warm glow. There are no windows in the building, yet a faint breeze can be felt, even with the doors closed. Opposite the entryway are four more oak doors, each with a different set of carvings. In the center of the room is a large telescope which extends through the roof to the outside.

Sitting at the telescope is a female. She looks up from her study and turns in the chair to face you. She smiles warmly and brushes a strand of her long hair out of her face. She appears to be in her late teens or early twenties. Hopping down from her seat, her leather boots don't make any sound on the black and white tile floor.

Hi. My name is Icefall. Welcome to my observatory and planetarium. I'm glad that you came to visit.

Through the door farthest left is the planetarium. Next to it is a small library with books about constallations, planets, mythology, and space/time magic. Currently there is only one magic book in there, but I hope to extend my collection in the future. Beyond the third door is a long staircase leading up to the observation tower. There is a small telescope up there, but I prefer to just sit up there and watch the stars naturally. The final room is a practice room for if you wish to train in space or time-type magic. At most, the room can hold three people without each person's training interfering with another. Feel free to explore the building.

Icefall returns to her chair, but looks once more at you.

Oh! I almost forgot to tell you. For the most part, this place is a free learning center, but it does cost 50 credits to enter the planetarium. If you wish to go in there, place the money in the slot by the planetarium's door. That will unlock the room. On special occasions, the planetarium has laser light shows, so you'll have to visit often.

She smiles once more before returning to her telescope.

<Kaeden wanders and sees a large observatory.>
Kaeden: "Hmm... Reminds me of the one on my planet, Elanthia. There is no way I am NOT going in there!" <quickly runs up to the observatory and opens the door>

Icefall looks up from her telescope and greets the newcomer with a smile

Hello sir, how may I help you?
From: Kaeden | Posted: 5/12/00 11:34:15 PM
Kaeden: "Hmm? Oh, don't worry about me. I just knew I would feel right at home here. On my planet, Elanthia, I am what is called a Moon Mage. All of my abilities and magical power comes from the heavenly bodies." <Quickly sets his eyes on a bookshelf and pulls out a book on astronomy>
Kaeden: "One of our most wonderful abilities is predicting and altering the future using signs in constellations. Just act like I am not here." <Kaeden is quickly absorbed in the book and enters a trance-like state.>

No problem. Make yourself at home.

Icefall returns to her telescope and star charts.

Icefall hops down from her chair and heads towards the third door. She sticks her head in the library for a second before going though.

If you need me, I'll be up in the tower for a while, okay?

Icefall leaves Kaeden to his reading and begins to climb up the stairs.

<Kaeden's ears perk up as he hears footsteps in the virtually soundless observatory. He glances up from his book to see Omega Ninja. He then returns all his attention to his Astronony book.>

She opens the door at the top of the stairway and is greeted by a beautiful starlit sky. Icefall takes a seat in a patio lounge chair and lays back to stare at the beauty of space. With her eyes, she traces various constallations.
