<Kaeden wakes up and holds his head groggily.>
Kaeden: "I need to stop staying up that late... It's not healthy." <Kaeden gets up out of bed, slips on his armor and attaches his sheath to his belt. He then walks upstairs.>

The Prophetess of Insanity ~SoI~
When the going gets tough, I stand strong

Icefall leaves the basement and heads upstairs to the main hall, to check the current position of the stars in the large telescope.
From: Kaeden | Posted: 6/7/00 9:43:52 PM
<Kaeden turns at a sudden noise and sees Icefall coming up the stairs.>
Kaeden: "Hello, Icefall. what will be our plans for getting out of the observatory? Perhaps I could call Kssarh to help us, but he would force me to go back to Elanthia as soon as he was done with the journeymen, and I don't think the journeymen deserve to die. They are not at fault. Also, it would be a very long time before I could come back if I called him to help us."

Icefall looks to Kaeden.

You are right. I don't want the journeymen harmed either, and I don't want to put you at odds with your mentor any more than what has already been done. I will have to meet him someday and appologize for detaining you from your studies and so forth.

Icefall glances down at the ground and then looks back up at Kaeden.

I am thinking of sending Nalyr out to find Teferi. I dont want to put anyone at risk, but it looks like it is inevitable. Once Nalyr reaches Teferi, I can attempt a mindcall. Unfortunately, mindcalls are not my forte. In the past, I was only able to pull them off when at full strength and with a lot of luck. Even then, they were very faint.

I'd prefer to go and find Teferi myself, but the journeymen are still outside. Your moonbeam suggestion from the night before sounded promising. It might work tonight since the journeymen seem to become less lucid each day.

If you have any ideas on which plan to use, please say so.

Kaeden: "If they were completely insane, I could attract them to my moonbeam and have them stay attracted to it like fireflies to a light. Even better, moonbeams last for a long time or until the moon sets below the horizon. If I were to use this to distract them, I would perhaps want to try and become accustomed to the moon this planet has, instead of calling a beam from the moons that circle my planet. I could use the power of the moons from my planet, as the moons from there are close enough to be seen as larger, colored stars to this planet when facing us."

Would this moonbeam move about, or stay in one place? I could add a little fog to help confuse them, if you think that would work, but yes, I think that they are becoming more insane as the stars continue to move about each night.

Icefall takes a seat at the telescope and quickly scans the sky. The Northern Star is still in its proper place. She looks up and smiles at Kaeden.

As long as the North Star remains in place, the dark solar mages can still be defeated. They will pay for what they have done to the journeymen and the people who were harmed by them.

Kaeden: "The moonbeam would stay in one place. Moonbeams are the first step to being able to teleport. Moon Mages can create moonbeams and appear in their moonbeam whenever they wish, so long as they have the ability to moongate as well."

I see. Well it sounds like a good plan to me since the journeymen are begining to act more chaotic each night. I think it could work. I know you can make it work. I have confidence in you.

Icefall steps down from the telescope area.

I will have to plan what to pack before we begin though. I'm going to make some tea. Would you care for some?
From: Kaeden | Posted: 6/7/00 10:50:32 PM
Kaeden: "Yes, tea would be wonderful. Thank you for your hospitality and confidence in me, Icefall."
