| A tree branch whips into Icefall's face, leaving behind a large red mark. In the distance, she can see a small patch of light through the thick tree canopy. I think there might be a clearing up ahead. |

| Icefall steps into the small clearing and looks around. Thick, tall trees ring the area. A few large rocks and a decaying log create a semi-circle in the middle of the area. This place has been used as a campsite before by others. No one has used it in a while though since there do not seem to be any ashes in the fire pit. Icefall sets down her bag and then takes a seat, leaning against one of the rocks. |

| Icefall notices the concern in Kaeden's eyes. Oh, I'm okay. A few cuts and bruises is all. None of them are too bad. I'll get them all cleaned up when we reach Teferi. She begins to pull twigs and burrs out of her long hair. |

| Icefall digs into her bag after picking the forest out of her hair. She pulls out two pouches filled with rolls and dried meats. Handing one to Kaeden, she opens the drawstring on her own and takes a bite out of a roll. I packed enough food to last us well over how long it will take to reach Teferi, so dig in! I'll make us a fire. She gets up and begins to search for sticks on the ground. As she finds them, she tosses them into the fire pit. I would make a fire by magic normally, but I don't want to attract any unwanted attention to us. The fire will have to be small, since it will give off smoke, but it will do its job for heating some water for tea. Icefall pulls out some flint rocks and begins to strike them next to the pile of sticks, but the cool wind refuses to allow the sparks to last long. |
