<Kaeden runs so fast that at one point he slips and nearly sprains his ankle! He quickly stands back up and continues running for Icefall! Kaeden finally reaches Icefall and kneels down next to her.> Kaeden: "Icefall! How did this happen?" <Kaeden quickly checks her body for injuries. He grabs the bottom part of his tunic and rips off a large portion of it. He ties it as tightly around Icefall'sneck as he can without restricting her breathing. He then tries to think of a way to help her back.> --- Silent Astronomer/Astrologist of the SoI. Finally I am no longer a novice. My power is beginning to grow. |

Icefall looks up at Kaeden and smiles weakly. I'm glad to see that you are okay. I was attacked by two wolves under the control of the dark solar mages. Poor creatures, the wolves. I believe that they were bonded to one of the dark mages since one wolf spoke in a language i could understand. I regretfully had to kill the wolves to save myself. Most likely better for them than to be corrupted any more by the dark ones. |

Kaeden: "I am glad to see that you will live." <Tears begin forming around Kaeden's hazel eyes. Kaeden smiles slightly at Icefall.> Kaeden: "Using animals in such a way, though... Sickening." --- Silent Astronomer/Astrologist of the SoI. Finally I am no longer a novice. My power is beginning to grow. |

The relationship of mages and their bonded is sacred. What the dark mages made the wolves do was dishonorable. At least now the wolves are free from the taint of the dark solar mages. Icefall begins to shiver in her soaked clothing. Unfortunately, I had to cast a spell to kill the wolves, so the journeymen may start to head this way. At least we have a head start to work from. Lets go. She begins to try and push herself up off the ground. |

<Kaeden helps Icefall off the ground, and puts her arm around his shoulders.> Kaeden: "I'll support your weight." <Kaeden begins to walk southeast, helping Icefall along.> --- Silent Astronomer/Astrologist of the SoI. Finally I am no longer a novice. My power is beginning to grow. |

I am sorry for being such a burden. Icefall weakly walks alongside Kaeden, who is supporting her. Every once in a while, she takes a sharp breath due to the pain of her wounds. |

<Kaeden slightly frowns at Icefall as she says that.> Kaeden: "You are not a burden. I came back for a reason." --- Silent Astronomer/Astrologist of the SoI. Finally I am no longer a novice. My power is beginning to grow. |

Icefall looks at Kaeden. Thank you, Kaeden, my friend. She briefly closes her eyes, but continues to limp alongside Kaeden. |

The barren terrain behind them begins to open up to a large grassy meadow. Thick, knee-high grass is mixed with flowers and weeds. A few scattered weeping willow trees droop down and touch the ground. A small spring can be made out next to the shade of one of the trees. Icefall points out the spot to Kaeden. Would it be okay to rest there for a minute or so? I should try and wash out the mud from the wounds. |

Kaeden: "Of course." <Kaeden helps Icefall over to the spring.> --- Silent Astronomer/Astrologist of the SoI. Finally I am no longer a novice. My power is beginning to grow. |
