* In the forest...* *Belgurdo sees a large bird nesting in a tree* I wonder if fowl is tasty around here? *Tries to shoot it down, but misses and clips it. The bird wakes up, slighly pissed* "Oh, ****! Now why'd I go and do that?" *The bird charges Belgurdo at lightning speed, but he jumps it and plants two shells into its back. The creature is unfazed. It turns around and bites Belgurdo on the arm* "Hmph! So that's how you want to play, huh? Alright!" *Belgurdo bites the bird in the neck, upon which it dies* "Yeah! Take that, mother ******!"

Oh, I hadn't noticed. Thanks for your help. Icefall takes out of a pocket the piece of fabric Kaeden had given her before and ties it gently around her neck. Just then a loud sound is heard from the forest and a flock of various birds fly out of the trees and down the mountian. I've never heard a sound like that before. What was it? I hope no animals were hurt. She turns towards where the sound came from and contemplates checking it out.

The star and solar mages have helped each other and worked together for eons. During the Solar Split, the star mages sided with the solar mages of light, knowing that the dark ones were wrong in their ways. The dark mages have hated us ever since, along with the solar mages of light. Now the darrk mages seem to be planning another war and are trying to take out the star mages before it even begins by moving the stars. Icefall looks up at the sky. The war 500 years ago was brutal, but we won it. This time though, we may not be so lucky. I hope to stop the dark ones before this goes any farther. Come on, lets go. Icefall turns and resumes her paced walk up the mountain.

Icefall looks up ahead and notices that the land levels off a bit and the rocky terrain changes back to soil and vegitation. She also sees a short flicker of light and whispers to herself. Can it be? She quickens her pace to a jog and then a run, nearing the bit of light she had seen breifly. Pain jarrs throughout her body with each step, but she ignores it as best she can. As she gets nearer, Icefall is able to make out figures and a small campsite.
