The air around Icefall continues to warm as persperation gathers on her face and arms. The drops that touch the ground hiss and then freeze. Icefall begins to make a choking sound as a shooting star flys through her field of vision. Tears well up in her eyes, but she never stops her chanting or moving her hand through the water. Suddenly, Icefall stops her chant and gasps for air. The heat surrounding her disapears along with the ice on the ground. The silver bowl slowly reapears from behind a curtain of steam to reveal the water all gone. Icefall removes her hand from the bowl and stands up. She wipes the tears from eyes and smiles at Kaeden.

I got lucky. That fallen star tried to destroy me. The dark solar mages have stronger allies than last time.

Icefall picks up the bowl with her left hand and puts it back in the doorframe locker. She then takes a seat next to Kaeden on a lounge chair.

<Kaeden asks in a worried voice.>
Kaeden: "Are you alright?" <Kaeden picks up Icefall's hand and examines it for any visible injuries.>

Icefall fliches slightly as Kaeden picks up her hand, but she quickly puts on a small smile.

No, I'm okay. I've never had to do such an intense reading before is all. The stars are very upset, which is understandable.

She takes her hand back and quickly mutters a short spell, numbing the pain in her broken hand. A thin trail of blood runs down her index finger, which she quickly wraps up in a bit of first aid tape from one of her pockets. She then turns her attention back to the stars.

They are very upset, yet so beautiful. Don't you agree?

<Kaeden calms himself and turns to look at the stars as well.>
Kaeden: "Yes... I can sense that they are angry as well, but they are still beautiful." <Kaeden ponders and begins focusing on the moon, as if trying to learn something from it.>

Icefall looks over at Kaeden, who is staring at the moon.

Can you tell anything from the moon? The stars confirmed that the dark solar mages are behind it, but they do not know who is aiding the mages.

<Kaeden responds while still looking at the moon.>
Kaeden: "The moon can tell me of what the future holds for us, and I can slightly alter the future using the moon. But it cannot tell me of the present or past. I am looking for hope in the future, and seeing if I can determine what will happen next here..."

Icefall looks up at the Northern Star and then at the moon.

I hope they speak of good things for us. I sense that another Great Battle is in the works. I should send word to the solar mages of light, although they probably already know that something is amiss.

She stands up and gives a whistle. Soon Nalyr is perched on the railing, making sounds to Icefall. While scratching the great white owl's head, she whispers a message to him. The bird takes off with a strong wing flap, and heads in the direction of the light mages. Afterwards, Icefall takes her seat again.

<Kaeden stops looking at the moon and looks at Icefall.>
Kaeden: "It is telling me little that we could not figure out ourselves... It is telling me of an impending war. But it said that the war will come when the dark solar mages have made the star mages virtually powerless by moving the stars. But there will always be hope."
