''Dranick....'' Leon steps foward from the shadows a little mishappen but otherwise ok. He raises his hand into the air and the storm stops. The clouds clear illuminating the battlefield with starlight. The apprentice pulls the double bladed stave from under his cape and jabs it into the ground. Leon looks down at the blade and then lifts his head up smiling. ''Now you are killing your own soldiers.'' Leon looks towards torment growling slaughtering the mages and starts to laugh a little to himself...but he can be heard barely. ''Why not just neutralize them? It is such a waste that they must be killed. And in this way too....I actually knew some of them...not that I care of course.'' He turns away from Dranick and starts walking a couple of meters away. His feet stop moving and he faces Dranick once again. ''So you said I will pay for this? Let's hope you keep good on your promise.'' ::I fear death. Yet...:: He stands his ground awaiting Dranick's attack. --- Hail to the soul that can stand tall....and shake the heavens. BNWAJA

Midori watches in amazement as more and more gods and heroes fill the dining hall. Midori: ''Wow! Look at all these people!'' Shiro: ''Indeed, it is amazing. But where is Odin?'' Then, just as Shiro finished his question, the hall became quiet. All the cheering and laughter stopped. Confused, Shiro and Midori looked around. At the northern end of the hall, Odin stepped out of the large door. Following him, are the higher gods, Frigga, Odin's wife, Thor, his son, Freyr and Freyja, Tyr, and others. Their footsteps filled the hall as they find their seat. Odin sits on a the end with his two wolves... The all wise one, Odin clapped his hands. Servents brought out the meal and drinks. Odin ''Let us feast!'' The hall filled with cheers and laughterr again as they began to eat. Shiro watches Odin. He wasn't eating. He gave his food to his wolves. He quietly drank his wine. While everybody was laughing, Lord Odin was quiet.... --- ''RI! Teacher, mother, secret lover! Oh, how I missed you!''

The booms of thunder and flashes of lightning begin to subside. The wind and rain also begin to slow until it is just a light drizzle outside. Icefall and Nalyr watch the unusual weather with some intrest. I think i sense the presence of others, but they are a distance off. Could they have caused this storm? We should be able to start looking for Leon again soon. The two continue to watch the lessening rain.

I awaken that morning and look across the ashes of the fire from the night before and see Kala sleeping soundly. I get up and see that the wound has completely healed. I start to walk away from Kala when... Kala: Where are you going? I turn around and see Kala's eyes still closed and watch them flutter open and she looks at me with her deep green eyes. Wolfgang: I do not have to tell you. Kala: Would even have stayed long enough to thank me for saving your life? Wolfgang: No. I have important business to attend to. You are a good healer though, I will give you that much. Kala eyes me and stands. Kala: Then go, if that is what you want, monk. Wolfgang: Then I will take my leave. I stand and begin to walk back in the direction of the temple. Kala: But if you go, who will avenge the death's of these wolves? I stop and turn around and stare right into her eyes. --- I welcome death, for it is the only true release from this torment known as life. We all die sometime.

I look at Kala. Wolfgang: I already avenged their deaths. I killed their murderer, did I not? Kala: You killed one of them, there were more, but they left in that direction before you got here. Wolfgang: Really? Kala: Go, leave, why should I care if these evil men killed my brother and parents?! I look at her and just stand there wondering what to do next. I look up and see Kala walking off in the direction she pointed. ::.Do I stay here? Go to my lord? <Dranick stops concentrating on the Torment and turns to face Leon.> Dranick: ''As much fun as it is to destroy them, I would not have done it if it were not for... outside interference. But that is a different matter.'' <The arm holding the sabre tenses slightly, and raises it up a bit.> Dranick: ''I am surprised at your foolishness to show your face in my presence once more. But now that-'' <Dranick is interrupted by an angry roar. The Torment had noticed that Dranick had stopped feeding it the energy it needed to stay in the mortal realm. It runs out of the huge rip in the tent it made for it to fit in, and charges at Dranick!> Dranick: ''Once more you have hindered me. I shall not forget this.'' <Dranick begins running off, but he stops after a moment. He recalls what he heard from Damaris.> ::''Either you or Kaeden shall cause what I desire.'':: ::Hrrm... I can not leave just yet.:: <Dranick turns to face the furious Torment, and readies his sabre.> ::Fighting such a creature is useless... I will have to attempt and fend it off until it ceases to exist in the mortal realm.:: <Dranick waits as the Torment charges at him, then sprints to the side, hoping he is swift enough to avoid the creature.> --- Wizards use magic of fire and ice. Sorcerers use magic of pain and fear.

I look at Kala as she keeps walking away from Me. ::.She is trying to lull me into helping her with that bit about her parents.:: I follow after her and catch up with her quickly. I continue walking with her for a distance without saying a word. Kala finally stops and looks at Me. Kala: Are you going to help me? Wolfgang: I will help you kill the murderers of the dead wolves, but only that far. I still have to go back to my lord. Kala nods. We walk for hours, up steep terrain. Over hills always going towards a set of mountains in the distance. We continue on, searching for anyone. We stop to take a rest when a man in black robes steps out from behind a large boulder. He looks at us and is about to charge up for a magical attack when. Wolfgang: Would you attack a man with magic when all he has is a knife? Man: Yes, but I guess I can make an exception with you. The man pulls out a saber and charges me. I throw the knife and at the same time, begin speaking in a strange language. The knife cuts a deep gauge into the mans arm, but no blood comes forth. The man begins to scream as a white ethereal spirit begins to float out of the wound. The wound still does not bleed. The spirit disappears into nothingness and the body of the man stands there screaming like an enraged creature of sorts. I grab Kala by the arm and turn her around and begin to walk away from the screaming man. Kala: Why are we walking away? Wolfgang: Do not look back, whatever you do, do not look back. Kala: Wh... A bright flash of light is seen flowing by us a great speeds, then retreats back behind us. Wolfgang: We can now turn around. Kala and I turn around and all that is left of the man is a charred skeleton. Kala: Wh... --- ''Employees who never ask for a raise are probably stealing from you'' -Red Green

Kala looks at me in amazement. Kala: Wh... What did you do to him?! Wolfgang: I took his soul, or rather, I released it. Kala: His soul?! Wolfgang: Yes, you see, your body is in actuality, a beast, with no real control over the power it has. The soul, which is like your mind, controls this power so that it doesn't eat your insides up, like what happened to our friend there. There is a symbiotic relationship between the soul and body. When the body is mortally wounded, it rejects the soul for allowing this to happen, and in so doing, kills itself. Without your soul, you cannot control the power contained within you; the beast, or body, would not know how to stop the power. That is why you have a soul, and that is why that man is no more. Kala just stands there stunned. (OOC: What do you think of my character so far?
