Ashmere shortly returns with three scrolls carefully being carried in her arms. She hands them over to Icefall to look at. Jered pulls over a side table for Icefall to unroll the scrolls on. Laying two of the scrolls on the ground, Icefall opens the first scroll and looks at it. A frown immediately lines her mouth. Teferi stands up and walks over to look at the scroll as well.

Teferi: ''Whats wrong, Icefall?''

Its blank.

Teferi: ''What do you mean?''

The scroll is blank. There is no writting on it.

All of the councilmen surround the small table to see what Icefall is looking at. Sure enough, not a single drop of ink is on the sheet of paper.

Ashmere: ''Well he must have handed me a blank scroll by mistake. Its sure to happen to anyone.''

Icefall rolls up the first scroll and exchanges it with one of the two remaining scrolls on the floor. This one is blank as well.

I think you were played for a dupe, Ashmere...

The last scroll is just as wordless as the other two. Icefall rolls up the last scroll and then lays the three of them on the table.

Ashmere: ''Why would he give us three blank scrolls?''

Jered: ''Maybe we should go find Gerrard and ask him.''

I'd be cautious. He seems to know quite a bit of powerful magic.

Teferi nods.

Teferi: ''The way he was able to subdue the ninja was very unusual. His magic style is familiar, yet unfamiliar at the same time.''

I dont feel very comfortable about these scrolls. They kinda give off bad vibes to me. I dont like it.

Jered: ''They are blank though, what harm will they do us?''

Icefall shakes her head and picks up the scrolls.

I'm going to go and destroy them, just for peace of mind, okay? I'll go off a ways so should anything occur, the camp will be safe. If they are blank, it should make no difference anyways, right?

Teferi: ''Okay, Icefall. Come back soon though.''

I will.

Raen: ''Take care.''

Icefall nods and then exits the tent, heading towards the northern edge of camp.

Kaeden: ''Hmm?''

The Dark Solar Mage once again glows and transforms his shape.....back into the being named ''Gerrard''.

''My name is...Leon.''

He once again changes shape back to his original form. Leon walks up the chair restraining Kaeden and kneels down in front of him.

''Have you talked to Dranick? Well......forget it. Do you want help from Icefall and the others? Well...I don't care if you say yes or no...''

He stands up and walks to teh side of the tent away from view from the outside.

Cut to the LSM and Star Mage Camp.

The scrolls Icefall has in her hands....they glow.

Icefall makes her way through the northern part of camp and eventually reaches the alarms set up in the area by Raen. She grins at the tangled mass of alarms Raen had laid out.

Raen knew what she was doing in setting up these alarms. Well set up or not though, it is still easy to by pass if you know where they are.

She easily passes through the alarms with out setting them off. Icefall decides to get a good distance away from the camp before destroying the scrolls. After walking for about a half mile or so, Icefall stops to take a short rest. Looking at the scrolls in her arms, she notices that they have begun to take on a light glow.

What the?

''All I need is for Icefall to open the scroll, and I can relay some info to her....Well Kaeden...how are you enjo---''

Leon stops abruptly...

::Damn....::

Preceding footsteps can be heard coming closer and Leon peeks outside he cannot see anybody yet....

::Hmmmph.::

Leon puts his hand over his left eye...no sounds are heard as his eye slowly leaves the socket and sprouts wings. He sends it outside to spot around for the approaching person. Dranick is still quite a distance allowing Leon some time to run. First he looks for an opening and then looks back at Kaeden.

''Please...don't say anything of this.''

Leon runs out of the tent just as Dranick comes into view and heads quickly to a tent accross from Kaeden's. Leon leads the eye back, and places it back in the socket. Inside this tent which happens to be a barracks, Leon nods and smiles at the resting mages and peeks outside for Kaeden....

''Phew....''

<Kaeden eyes Leon suspiciously for the moment that he talks, peeks out the tent, and then raises his eye as he forces his eye out and it begins flying. Then Leon runs out while telling Kaeden not to speak of this.> ::That was quite interesting...:: <Shortly after Leon leaves, Dranick walks back in.>
Dranick: ''Well... Have you made a decision?''
Kaeden: ''I am still pondering this.''
Dranick: ''Very well then... I shall leave you to your thoughts a bit longer.'' <Dranick walks back out, but seeming somewhat impatient.> ::Hmm... I wonder how much extra time that I can take...::

Icefall eyes the scrolls curiously.

Huh. Blank scrolls that glow...I can only think of one type of scroll that fits the description. Communication scrolls! Of course! They are blank untill someone sends a message by them, which is when they glow. Why would Gerrard give us a bunch of communication scrolls though?

She looks over at the glowing scrolls again.

Well, there's only one way to find out. By the Northern Star's light, I hope they are what I think they are.

Icefall takes the top glowing scroll off of the bundle and slowly unrolls it on a large flat rock nearby.

A messege soon appears on the scroll as Icefall's theory proves correct.

''To whomever at camp is reading this: This is a messege from the one who you know as Gerrard. I am currently in the Dark Solar Mage Camp. Let me cut to the point of this scroll as I do not have enough tiem to go into detail. If you want, I can help your forces stage an attack and if you so agree send the Owl of Icefall's to the Central Square of the camp at dusk. I will send the schematics and plan I have drawn up. If you do not trust me.....this will be your downfall. If you really want to know, my name is Leon, an apprentice of the Dark Solar Mage Dranick. That is all. Wait....Kaeden. He's here as well.''

Shiro: Ughhhh....

Shiro woke up. He finds himself in a familiar place. The last thing he remembered was carrying his brother to Rokkaku. Then, he collapse and past out. Shiro realized that he must be at the village hospital. He remebered this particular room. He used to come here everytime he got injured from training. Sensei Genkaku can be a bit rough sometimes. Shiro looked around the room. He sees his ninja gears placed next to his bed.

... I better get out of hear. The villagers must not know I'm here.

Shiro got out of bed and put on his gears. He escapes through a window. He toured the village. Nobody knew who he was since his face was covered.

Shinji and father did a good job raising the vilage.

Despite the fact that the village was attacked, Shiro could see that the village has improved. He saw many people helping each other to rebuid the village. He strolled by the market square. The residents area. The Royal Garden. Shiro and his brother used to spend their time there. Shiro walked by the Royal Palace. His home... Used to be, untill he left Rokkaku. Shiro saw some people setting up for the cremation of Shinji. All these memories began to slowly return. His childhood. His days training to be a fighter. Shiro walked on. The memories was too painful. He had abandoned his past. Now they're back to confront him.

Shiro continued his stroll. He reached the outskirts of Rokkaku. He saw Sensei's old dojo. Shiro's old training ground. His moment of reminisent was interupted when he saw a young boy practicing martial arts alone. He was about five years old.

Who is that boy? His moves are similar to Sensei's. Could it be? Sensei's alive?

Shiro grew excited. His master is alive! Shiro ran into the dojo. The young boy saw Shiro and ran after him.

Boy: Hey ! You can't go in there! That's my house!

Shiro ignored the boy. He was to excited. Shiro entered the dojo. He searched the house. But Sensei Genkaku was nowhere to be found. Shiro saw a smal shrine located in the living room. It had a small urn and an incense lit next to it. Behind the urn was a framed picture of Sensei Genkaku...

He's still dead...

Shiro walked upto the small shrine. He kneeled and bowed to the shrine. Just then the boy caught upto Shiro.

Boy: Hey you! You can't just barge into people's house! It's just rude!

Then Shiro heard a familiar voice. A soft, sweet voice.

????: Makoto, who are you talking to?

Shiro turned around. The mysterious person entered the room. Shiro immedietly recognized the voice. It was Midori, Shiro's love! But she did not recognized him at first, since Shiro's face was concealed. Untill she saw his eyes. She knew right away...

Boy: Mother, do know this man?

Mother?!

Shiro was stunned...
