Icefall still remains sitting in the tree watching the ninja and Gerrard. She watches half in intrest, half in annoyance as Gerrard makes a magical attack on the ninja and then raise his sword.

What do you plan to do?!

She hops down from the tree just as the ninja speaks. Icefall looks slightly suprised, but she quickly masks the expression.

Why must you two fight? Haven't you killed enough people for one day, stranger? Gerrard, I dont know your past, but you seem to have a certain dislike towards this man. Can either of you rationally explain yourselves?

<Kaeden regains his senses to find himself sitting in a wooden chair in a large tent. He looks around and sees nothing else in the tent, excluding a large flap as the exit. He begins to stand, but finds himself unable. After a short moment, someone enters under the tent flap. He recognizes him as Dranick, the man he met in the city ruins.>
Dranick: ''So you have finally awakened. Perhaps I overdid my spell? We-''
Kaeden: ''What is the meaning of this?! What are you attempting to do?''
Dranick: ''Hmmph. Perhaps I should apologize for the somewhat rough treatment. But it was necessary. You must learn certain things before others.''
Kaeden: ''And what would that be, hmm?''
Dranick: ''I shall first begin on the World Dragon that sleeps beneath the ground of Elanthia. As I have already told you, it's burning aura shortens the lives of all on the surface of Elanthia. It seems to be cursed, considering the unwanted affects that the flame of the Dragon caused to the now scorched moon Katamba. Because of this, I plan to save my allies and those who can potentially become my allies that are there from their horrible fate.
Kaeden: ''Yet, I have no knowledge of you. Why would I become your ally?''
Dranick: ''Oh, you most certainly can become one if I desire. You see, what I have offered you is to nearly triple your life. Should you accept, you would be greatly in my debt.''
Kaeden: ''... And if I refuse?''
Dranick: ''If you refuse, then I shall get you out of here the same way I got you in, and then you would be confronted with the decision of going back to that camp and attempt to explain what you were doing, or forget about them and continue to do your little job for the Moon Mage Guild, and either way, you would remain tied to your fate. But you do not want that, do you?''
Kaeden: ''... How do you know all of this about me?''
Dranick: ''You would be surprised how much I know. And it is unnecessary for you to know how I know.''
Kaeden: ''Hmmph... Also, you said you wished to have me as an ally, I believe. Then why am I magically bound to this wooden chair?''
Dranick: ''It is necessary for your own good.''
Kaeden: ''Argh...''

Shiro turned his attention to Icefall.

Hmmm... She seems to be the rational one of the group.

Shiro realized that Icefall has done nothing but try to make sense of the situation. While all Shiro did was jumped to conclusions and fighting.

Shiro: ... ... ... If you wish for me to explain my actions, I will. But NO TRICKS!

He was reffering to when Gerard knocked Shiro unconsious with his magic.

Shiro: That dead man over there, is Shinji Takemura. Current prince of Rokkaku, a village 3 miles north of here. Shinji was my brother. He went looking for help when foreigners attacked Rokkaku. The attackers were probably The Dark Solar Mages. You seem to know them. When I heard that my brother was missing, I went searching for him. Only to find him here, dead. With severe chest burn and a gash on his head. You can understand my anger now, correct? Now you that I have answered your questions, answer this: What happened to my brother?

Icefall looks at the ninja solemnly.

I'm sorry to hear about your village and your brother. I am sorry the dark ones took it upon themselves to destroy your home. Our battle with the dark ones has gone on for quite some time now. As for your brother, from what I understand, he came into the camp with most of those wounds already. Since he, like a few others, was able to bypass a magic barrier we had up then, it most likely made his wounds worse. Again, I am sorry for your loss.

Shiro lowers his head in shame. He has attacked this camp for no reason. He is no better than Tetsuo, a fool who acts on instincts and impulses.

Shiro: ... I see. I am terribly sorry for killing your comrades.

Shiro walked up to Icefall and kneeled on his knee. He hands her his Katana.

Shiro: I failed... I killed your comrades for no reason. If you wish, you may kill me here and now... I have no reason to live. My master, dead. My love, violated. My brother, dead. Kill me. Kill me now.

Shiro closed his eyes and waits for death...

(OOC: Icefall, ignore Shiro's plea. I don't want him dead. I only did this for dramatic purposes only!)

Gerrard has took this time to escape from camp. He heads off in the direction of where Kaeden took off, and with magically enhanced abilities, moves 4x as fast than a running human. He is mad...

Dranick: ''Now... You are among of a group of people who believe in the advancement of magic. Each passing hour we zealously research and experiment with spells. We had decided to begin with the darker side of our certain magic circle, which had been nearly untouched. And then we would begin expanding out into new areas. However, half of us disagreed with our methods and attempted to bar us from further research, speaking of some nonsense of magic not advancing too fast. Ha! They had their sights set down straight at their feet! We could not oppose their greater numbers, though. We began secretly researching deeper into the magic, and holding unknown meetings. When our power grew much greater, we ambushed our foolish brothers while they slept, killing many of them without them even knowing what we were doing. But soon the entire camp was awake, and our half asleep brothers began to fight back. With our unexpected strike they were easily defeated. Most were killed, the rest managed to escape. But this was disconcerting to us, as we expected they would spread twisted versions of the story of us being ''Vicious evil murderers''. We were quite right, as soon we were being attacked by forces from nearby cities trying to eliminate our ''Threat''. Though they did not know the truth, we had no way of telling it to them without them discarding it as a lie. We planned to deal with them as we did our brothers. Armed with our advanced magic we conquered their swords of steel and wooden arrows easily. When we managed to take over a city with a castle, it was quite a good sign for us, as we were beginning to run low on supplies being cut off from everything else. And with a castle as a base instead of a camp, we would be much harder to attack. We began sending out spies to other cities and towns to take over. We began conquering them, one by one. But eventually we met with our brothers once again, with an unbelievably large army from likely dozens of cities who were alarmed of our fast takeover. Our current magic skills then, as advanced as they were compared to others, easily could not make up for the sheer difference in numbers. We were driven into hiding, beaten, battered, and nearly gone. We hid where people refused to venture due to the harsh climate there. This is our side of the story of the ''Great Solar Split'' that took place five hundred years ago.''
Kaeden: ''Hmmph... So you are the Dark Solar Mages? What makes you believe that I would join with the likes of you?''
Dranick: ''Hmm. I see. In your time here on this planet you heard many stories and rumors of our ''Evil bloodthirsty conquest'', I would assume. We just let no opposition exist. Now let me tell you-''
Kaeden: ''I have heard enough. Let me out.''

Hmmph... So this is how it was meant to be.

Dranick: ''I am disappointed with your opinion. But we cannot let you out now. As we said, we let no opposition exist. But I still might ba able to convince you. Now, we had struggled to survive the long five hundred years. But as more time passed, we moved farther away from the harsh places. We knew that they would have stopped searching by now. Now that we lived in places where we could easily gain food and other necessary supplies, we began to slowly rise back to our former glory. As more and more time passed and new generations of us came, we began slowly spreading rumors of our group, but of course we did not mention we were the ''Dark Solar Mages''. Though much time had passed, our kind was still known by quite a few. As people with similar beliefs and wishes as we did began searching for us, we began growing in number faster than ever. We had grown to a very high magical level, and all we had needed was numbers. We had finally regained the strength we had needed to fight as we did five centuries ago. We began searching the skies for other planets. We found a few others that could support life. Using group efforts, a large number of us managed to send some of our brothers to these other planets to hopefully survive and spread the word about us. Eventually, our efforts were paid off as we soon discovered of our brothers returning to us that they have managed to start our camps on other planets. These other camps proved quite valuable as the camp began teleporting more forces to us for the battle. Finally, we began striking back, destroying cities and towns all over, and once again our name was known. But when we finally came around to the ''Light'' Solar mages, we discovered they were allied with Star mages. We held off from showing ourselves and began showing them how powerful we had become. We began to push the stars with our magic. We began to make them collide, become too far from this planet to be seen, to interrupt important constellations, and we began adding new stars of our own to the sky, which were completely unusable. This, we learned, was making the Star mages panic, and the ''Light'' Solar Mages worried. In the confusion, we started controlling the journeymen of both groups and used them to fight for us. They were already confused , and the added assault from their own number made many of them be destroyed. They attempted to fight back, but the journeymen were causing them too many casualties, and they retreated while they still could recover. We then began sending the journeymen to search the area for more of our foolish brothers and their new allies and destroy them at sight. From then on, we had been attacking more cities and towns until the point that we are at now. Of course, I would believe that none of the current ''Light'' Solar mages know the truth, since they were likely raised on the warped truth their ancestors used. I will now let you contemplate for a while, now that you know our side of the story.'' <Dranick then walks out of the tent.>

::Hmmph... Advancing too far will likely lead to their destruction. It is fortunate that the immortals intervened when we on Elanthia advanced too far during a petty war.::

Gerrard tugs the Lasmodi Gwethdesuan to see if the thoughts of Kaeden are currently active. He stands still in concentration a bit.....but alas...nothing.

::Dammit....he deactivated it...Hmmph..I must hurry.::

He takes a moment to get a view of the surroundings and then turns toward his destination. Gerrard stretches his legs a little...and runs.
