<Zadorin works on fortifying his armor while his vision is still blurred. As his vision comes back into focus, he can now clearly see Ashmere and Jered trying to hit the nimble clones, and Teferi wrapping his with magic thread. Zadorin's eyes narrow into slits as Teferi insults him.> ::He shall pay for those words...:: <But as Zadorin is about to launch another attack while they are occupied with the clones, he notices the spell eating at his armor with greater strength.> ::Hmph! You will regret your foolish actions soon.:: <Zadorin begins to mutter and focus energy into his next spell. After a short moment, black waves surge through his armor and up into the cords, overtaking them as it presses on towards the root of the spell.> <Above the four, though, the dome has faded to the point that it only provides extra shade to those inside.> |

Leon stands in a defensive position as another solar mage falls to the ground to the side of his once opponent, a dark solar mage. However, Leon has no allies anymore and everyone is his potential enemy, and his only purpose here is to find Zadorin and put an end to this charade. ::One man would be the downfall to an entire clan, one woman would be the downfall to the near end of this world. Amazing how one can reverse many a fate with one action...:: It was with those thoughts that he had found what he was looking for. And finally, he would have the chance to become one who would change the paths many would lead. Or not....He started to walk towards the dome, each step full of emotion...however, with each step his body would become more heavier.... :Damn...not now!:: He could not turn around to face who had cast the dark spell on him. Leon struggled, and made a last ditch attempt to survive by raise his hands in the air as well... ::Hmmph...I hope this works...:: Leon eyed to the left of him as a fallen corpse of a Dark Solar Mage slowly started to move. And the partially paralyzed illusionist knew why...He had casted implosion.... --- Every day has a night, even forever must come to an end. |

Ashmere feigns an attack at her clone, quickly side-stepping and brings her sword down on the creature's forearm, cleanly slicing it off. In the fray, however, the shadow brings up its knee, connecting with her stomach and knocking the wind out of her. The female Star Mage swings her sword at the creature's legs as she falls to her knees to catch her breath. Jered's spell continues to eat away at Zadorin's dome as he does his best to keep his shadow away. Staying low to the ground due to his injury, Jered does his best to trip and kick his opponent. After one too many trips, the clone grabs at Jered's ankle as he makes for another kick. An ice cold touch briefly stuns the young mage as the dark creature begins to draws away his energy. With a shout, Jered aims a large ball of energy at the shadow and lets it fly. The energy pries the dark figure away from his ankle and backwards into the spell breaking the dome. Pined between the two light spells, the clone begins to hiss and scream. Letting his clone lay tied up on the ground, Teferi takes note as Zadorin pours more energy into his armor. The tendrils of light Teferi had cast around the armor slowly begin to fade as the darkness swallows them. With a small smirk on his face, Teferi chants a short spell and gives a short gesture with his hands. The thinning vines suddenly give off a brilliant blue light. The light begins to absorb the energy being fed to Zadorin's armor, using Zadorin's own energy to destroy the armor. Teferi throws one of his daggers at Zadorin's chest, the blade covered in more vines of blue light. Outside the dome, Raen continues to make her way through the crowd of fighters, trying to find something or someone to help get rid of the fading dome. She notices the outline of a vaguely familiar person not too far off. Raen gives the still figure an odd look as she tries to place his face. after a moment or so of thinking, she fully recognizes the man and begins to angrily run towards the man while shouting. Raen: How dare you show your face back here, Leon! She stops short a few feet of the man as she realizes that he still isnt moving. Raen: Are you just going to stand there and let me kill you now or something? im not going to kill you until you tell me what was the purpose of those scrolls you gave us. Icefall went out following those you know. what did you do to her? |

- Cut to Sefiny- Sitting in her hom the surviving half of the Northern Star looks on at the ensuing battle below. Now that Truxiouse is gone the outcome of the battle does not affect in anyway. But the lines of good and eveil are clearly drawn here, and for even to win would be a great travesty. Sefiny: ''I would have thought Terferi and his men to be wiser than that. They were lucky that Zadorin knew not the complete Shadow spell. Dranick would have surely induced his Shadows with Sympathetic damage. Poor Ashmere would be missing an arm now if that had happened'' Sefiny continues to looks on, debating with her self if whether or not her next move would be so wise. As well the Light Solar Mage Raen catches her eye. She see much of Icefall in her. Perhaps.... -Cut back to the battle- --- Faye Wong -No Regrets- |

<Zadorin mutters curses when he sees Teferi change his wires to an absorbing spell, which only adds anger to how disappointed he is with the performance of the clones. The one pinned between the two spells, while weakening both by touching them, eventually converts into a black pool that slowly slithers back to Jered's shadow.> ::Grrgh! I had not thought about this! If I waste time trying to counter this spell, then that will leave me open for longer than those pitiful shadows can distract them for... Hmm, this should do the trick...:: <Zadorin prepares another spell quickly, so that he can finish before the vines eat through his armor. As he chants, the dome starts to turn darker, extending it's soon to end life to survive Jered's spell long enough to serve Zadorin's purposes. But a flaw in his plan suddenly occurs to him.... The floor. He mutters a quick incantation to make a wall similar to the dome to cover the floor, except that it will not burn those touching it. The wall forms beneath them, but as the dagger comes and roots itself into his armor, adding more vines to the current, he had little time left to cast his last spell to end his attack. He begins muttering a modified version of an old dark solar mage spell.> <After focusing a sufficient amount of power into it, he shoots it off slanted down to the ground and heading sideways of everyone, except for an impossible to notice tilt towards Teferi, Ashmere, and Jered. The spell is a black needle, which rather slowly heads towards the edge of the dome. But when it hits, it reflects back, and also seems to grow in strength and speed. A bit faster this time, it hits the dome again, once again gaining a bit of strength and speed. In several more hits, it begins taking less than a second to hit the next wall. As it's speed and strength increases, it makes an illusion of there being an entire web of dark energy between Zadorin and the mages, and the tilt towards Zadorin's three enemies begins becoming more and more apparent. The web slowly appears to grow thicker as the single needle moves faster than the eye can see. As this happens, Zadorin begins working on an absorbing spell of his own to nullify Teferi's.> Zadorin: ''Haha! I do sincerely hope you know how to create dark energy walls! Oh wait, you had sworn off such dark magic, had you not? Oh well. That makes this an ideal example of what you could have easily saved yourself from if you had only understood me!!'' |

(Now, we can't let this topic get that far down....) --- It's frustrating when you know all the answers, and nobody bothers to ask you the questions. |

Jered's spell against the dome does its best to fight off the new dark floor Zadorin added. touching so much dark energy after the clone hit it, the spell slowly starts to deteriorate. Jered does his best to keep the light going as long as possible. Teferi watches with interest as Zadorin sets loose his dark needle and web. As the web moves towards them, the Star mage tests the web's strength by sending a small ball of light. The dark web easily diffuses the sphere with a sizzle. Teferi: And yet you are still a coward, now hiding behind a web of darkness. You'll never change, will you, Zadorin? Indeed, we don't know how to create dark walls, but that doesnt mean we'll give up. Ashmere kicks her clone into the web as it moves even closer. Ashmere: Teferi, we need to do something now! The trio move backwards a little and slightly closer to the ground. Huddled closely, Teferi whispers to the other council members. Teferi: Hold your breaths when i tell you to, ok? What i have planned won't attack you, but you might breathe it in by accident. Ashmere, i'll need you to help me with this one. Ashmere nods and begins to feed Teferi energy as he starts the workings of a new spell. A golden ring begins to appear on his finger as he chants softly. All the while, he keeps the moving web in the corner of his eye. As he continues the chant, the gold ring smoothly glides off his finger and floats a foot or so in front of him. The ring slowly grows in size until it is a large, thin hoop. Gently brushing the side of the golden hoop, it begins to spin, gaining in speed. Teferi: Now! Teferi takes a deep breath and blows into the middle of the spinning hoop like a child blowing a bubble. Little motes of light begin to float out towards the dark web and Zadorin. The little sparkles of shimmering light dance within the dark dome and begin to fill the area. The bits of light move through the tiny holes within the web. As some are touched by the web, they give off little sparks, trying to eat at the web. The light lucky enough to pass through the web move towards Zadorin swiftly. The light moves towards his nose, eyes, mouth, and ears, any opening the spell can find. |

Leon does not turn to acknowledge the nearby Raen and instead struggles to move his arms up to grasp against his stave against the effects of the paralysis. His hand inches closer and closer to embracing the stave, as the spell continues to take effect against the hard pressed body of Leon. When his hands have completely wrapped around and are now touching each other, Leon quickly turns up with a calm look, however, with an ounce of concealed hysteria. ''Lady! Back off!!!'' Then the sound of the spell starts to become tremendous while the momentum of vacuum effect increases in unison providing much power. The corpse that had started to drag next to him had been lifted in the air and collided with the other Dark Mage who had cast the paralysis spell on him. A silent thud was heard in reaction to their collision as he was sent to the beacon in which the vacuum effect revolved upon. The sound of flesh curdling was heard as his body was ripped apart due to the spell's force near it's base. The grass and various shrubbery in the area swayed towards it as well as the various shelters and tents. The paralyzed Leon would not let go for the spell had bind him in a position that held him close to the stave quite aloof... --- Every day has a night, even forever must come to an end. |
