Thank you, I do feel better than I did when I arrived during the night. Oddest of things...it seems as though my scar upon my hand has control over me whenever I am weak. I guess that's the reason why I am still alive now. Hmph must be my luck.

Jered begins to rapidly search through a pile of papers and scrolls stacked on a cot in the tent. Taking the time to briefly look at each, he then quickly casts them aside. The pile of papers and scrolls is soon all over the ground around Jered. Taking a look at one of the last scrolls on the cot, Jered gives it a bit more attention that he did the others. Slightly grinning, he rolls the paper back up and hurries out towards where Teferi and Ashmere are, finishing up the small barrier. As he leaves the tent, Jered directs a small ball of energy at the tent, destroying it and everything within it. The fire from the tent burns in a variety of colors. With each paper burned, the flame changes shade or sparks fly from it. Just as the fire's deep red transitions into an odd shade of green, Jered reaches the star mages, who both give him an odd look.

Jered: I know i shouldnt have done that after the years we all spent finding and writing those scrolls, but its better than having the dark ones take them, right?

Teferi quickly nods to the Light Solar mage as Jered unravels the scroll he had taken with him.

Jered: I have no idea what kind of spell they cast upon the sun, but i hope this will counteract it.

Ashmere and Teferi looks up at the darkened sun.

Teferi: A powerful spell indeed to take away the light from a star such as the sun. Lets hope that they exerted much energy to do such a thing along with all the star shifting. We may still have a chance to win.

Jered begins to gather energy as he chants the long set of words scribed on the scroll held before him. Slowly, the sun regains some of its light. The strong spell quickly tires the Light Solar mage out, causing him to collapse to the ground. Breathing heavily while on his hands and knees, Jered looks over at Teferi, who knelt beside him.

Teferi: Will you be okay? We can't go and lose the council this quckly now.

Jered: I'll be okay. I just need a quick rest. Im not as powerful as some, but i'll be ok.

Ashmere quickly hands Jered her canteen filled with water as the three of them watch the sun slowly regain its glow.

Leon eyes the attacking Dark Solar Mages pondering his next move. The former dark mage takes cover in the forest's foliage as his once comrades swiftly make their move towards the enemy camp. Under the leadership of such a deranged leader, the battle's result cannot be predicted nor its reason comprehended. Footsteps can be heard, the noise of the moving soldiers dominating all other senses. Leon takes cover and view a rather majestic tree which the Dark mages would surely pass...eyeing the stragglers while concentrating his mind upon the tree, it too starts to eye the approaching soldiers. He pulls the hood from his cape over over his head and moves swiftly towards the back of the attacking mages heading towards the flank which he recognizes as the most unskilled.

Raen does her best within the ranks as she helps in fighting their opponents. While fighting, she briefly glances up as the sun regains some of its lost light. Excitedly she calls to her comrades.

Raen: The light of the sun will prevail!

A cheer mixes within the sounds of battle as the Light Solar mages and Star mages regain some hope.

Raen continues to fight hard against the Dark Solar mages. She moves constantly while fighting, avoiding swords, knives, and magical attacks. Raen skillfully wields her twin daggers, making sure to injure anyone wearing black that is foolish enough to get near her. Enhanced with a little bit of magic, the blades never dull or dirty.

Filled with rage and anger, Raen fails to see a dark ball of energy flying towards her. Hitting her right shoulder hard, she flys backwards and onto the ground. Furious, she gets up and sends a sphere of light energy back towards where the attack came from. Raen aims the spell at a man cloaked in black who seems to stand out from the other fighters. The Light Solar mage continues to fight those nearest her but watches and controls the spell out of the corner of her eye, hoping it will hit its mark.

Meanwhile, Teferi, Ashmere, and a rested Jered begin to hurry and join in the battle.
