Zadorin: ''Fine then.... Believe that she just went ''Missing''. Whatever thin emotional reassurance suits you.'' <Zadorin gives a mocking clap as he sees them stop and push back the wall. He mutters another spell as it approaches him. When done, he reaches out and touches the wall with both hands. It starts pushing him backwards, but the wall seems to be flickering. After a short moment, the wall tears into two pieces, leaving a gap to fit around him. The walls touch against the dome and the energies conflict, but the walls eventually fade. He scowls as Teferi mentions Zadorin's men being weakened.> Zadorin: ''Maybe I will tell you why. If you survive long enough.'' <Zadorin chants and creates another black orb of power. He holds it up to the sky, and a large amount of it glows purple, in the shape of an eye. Dark energy balls begin to shoot out of the ''Eye'' in all directions in front of it! But as this happens, the spell trying to break the dome by contracting it, is making it shrink around them instead.> |

As the orbs fly at them, Ashmere notices the cage around them shrinking. Ashmere: Jered! Call off that spell before the dome shrinks anymore! Jered: Dang it! How was I to know it would have this effect? i thought the base of this dome was secured to the ground... Jered quickly does his best to recall the spell shrinking the dome around them. While doing so, he calls on another spell as he tries to dodge Zadorin's attacks. A ball of white light about the size of an orange floats above one of his hands. Flecks of orange and yellow light swirl within the sphere. Jered slams the ball of light downwards into the center of the dome's area. With the impact, a brilliant light flashes as a beam of energy shoots upwards towards the top of the dome. The light pushes against the dome as it tries to break it. A dark ball of energy hits Jered in the side as he works to control his spell. The dark energy easily rips through his shield and cuts him deeply. Jered cries out, but does his best to keep the spell going. Teferi and Ashmere add energy to their own shields as Jered's is ripped. Teferi tosses one of his daggers at the dark eye, aiming for its center. Teferi: Zadorin, your men are weak now and always were. why do you think we won the last war? Who was it that ran off in retreat to hide? your greed and desire for power makes you weak. Teferi sends sends a stream of light at Zadorin. As the stream nears the Dark Solar mage, it breaks into small threads. Each strand of silver and gold light wraps around different parts of Zadorin's body, working to weaken and crack his armor. |

<Zadorin frowns as the dagger stabs straight through the eye. The purple spot fades away, and the orb itself soon follows. Zadorin obviously becomes angered by Teferi's words, but attempts to cover it up.> Zadorin: ''HA! Even the three of you combined stand no chance of defeating me! We shall see which side is weaker!'' <Zadorin notices the two spells trying to crack his dome and his armor, but he does not seem worried.> ::I should have some time before either give out.:: <Zadorin holds his right hand open in front of him, the palm facing his three enemies. He begins another chant, and when he finishes, dark flares repeatedly shoot out, trying to damage their eyes.> |

Teferi and Ashmere are fast enough to cover their eyes from the dark flares, but Jered unfortunately gets hit by one of the attacks. Although now blind and injured, Jered works to maintain the spell attacking the dome. With her eyes still covered by one of her arms, Ashmere quickly chants a few words repeatedly. A cube of pure white energy rises from out of her hand. The box flies towards Zadorin. Inches away from the Dark Solar mage, the cube splits into two balls. One dives towards Zadorin's hand as it continues to send out dark flares. The other sphere rushes at the man's face and explodes into slivers of light. Teferi sends a force wave of light blue energy and light at Zadorin just as Ashmere's spell blows up in his face. The thick wave moves quickly, aiming at Zadorin's legs and lower body. |

<The light energy clashes with the dark energy used to send the dark flares. Eventually, they cancel each other out. And although Zadorin was fast enough to shut his eyes before the light flashed at his face, it was bright enough that he found his vision to be blurred when he opened his eyes. Thus, he did not see the force wall clearly enough to recognize what it was; instead, he discovered when it slams into his chest, sending him falling backwards against the dome. Though both the dome and Zadorin's armor were created using the same kind of magic, they interfere with and weaken each other. And though Zadorin tries to get away from the dome's wall, the force wall advances again and traps him between the two.> <Zadorin knew he had little time to destroy the force wall before the dome's energy broke through his armor, so he quickly regains his wits and sends a fairly large energy blast at the wall. While they begin to eat at each other, he begins focusing on reinforcing his armor to buy more time. The blast eats through, maintaining half it's original strength, and continues towards the three mages. Zadorin quickly stumbles forward away from the wall, and regains his balance. His vision is still disoriented, and although he can recognize the general area where his opponents are, he knows he would not be able to aim properly enough to hit them. He thinks as quickly as he can, and recalls one of the dark spells he had learned from Dranick.> <He begins muttering the odd incantations from Dranick's foreign world, and something unusual begins to happen under his three opponents. Barely visible in the small amount of light that comes in through the partially darkened sun and the now faded black dome, a duplicate of each of his three enemies' shadows pull away from their real one, and rise up off the ground. They slowly grow in width until they look like exact, yet black copies of each person. They each leap towards the person they were formed after, intent of latching unto and draining the life and willpower out of their victims.> |

Teferi and Ashmere dodge the dark energy, watching it hit the opposite end of the dome. Lying on the ground, Jered presses tightly against the bleeding wound in his side as he pours energy into the spell to crack the dome. Ashmere goes over to him and casts a small spell on his eyes, negating blindness spell. The female Star mage jumps back a little as their shadows begin to rise and take form. Ashmere: A doppleganger? Teferi: Not exactly like a doppleganger but very close. I've seen similar spells, but not one exactly like this. Keep your guard up. Ashmere takes a swipe at her copy with her sword while Teferi starts to call up a spell. Under a few quick gestures and chanting, a thread of orange light comes into form. The thread of light begins to wrap itself around Teferi's dark clone. The light continues to come out of his hands as his fingers weave the spell's energy into being. Orange light binds the creature's wrists and feet together, preventing movement. Teferi continues to control the light as it begins to wrap up the creature like a mummy. Jered picks himself up off the ground enough to give his copy a low roundhouse kick. Teferi: Have you lost so much confidence already, Zadorin? You send creatures like this to fight us instead of yourself? You were always a coward, weren't you? Running away at the end of the Solar Mage Wars. Hiding in the darkness all these years, trying to pick us off one by one from the shadows. Teferi adds a little extra energy to the spell eating at Zadori's armor. |
